What is BallKnower?
BallKnower is a daily NFL trivia game. Every day it deals the same five players to everyone who plays and asks five questions about each of them: where they went to college, what round they were drafted in, and what their careers actually looked like. Twenty five questions, one global leaderboard, free in your browser.
How to play BallKnower
- One round a day, the same round for everyone.
- Five players, five questions each. Twenty five in all.
- Questions cover where they went to college, what round they were drafted, and what their numbers look like.
- Answer all twenty five correctly and a bonus round opens up. Nothing less unlocks it.
- The shot clock is optional. Leave it on and you get twenty seconds a question, and your run counts towards the leaderboard and your streak.
- Answering quickly earns no extra points. The clock is a limit, not a bonus.
- Turn it off and take as long as you like, but the run is casual: it goes in your history and nowhere else.
- Past days stay playable in the archive, though replays never rank.

Answering quickly earns no extra points, so there is nothing to gain by rushing a question you would get right with fifteen seconds of thought.
The five questions about a player arrive together, and the early ones are the useful ones. A college or a draft round fixes an era, and everything that follows is easier to reason about once you know roughly when the man played.
The archive is where to practise. Past days stay playable and replays never rank, so working through them costs you nothing.
