What this is

BallKnower is a set of free NFL trivia games run by BallKnower Games. Using the site means you accept what is on this page. If you do not, the remedy is simply not to use it.

The games are free and there is nothing to buy. We may add, change or retire a game at any time — the daily games in particular are generated ahead of time and the archive is not a promise that any past day stays playable forever.

Accounts

You need an account only to be ranked on a leaderboard, to keep a streak, and to see your history. Everything else can be played signed out.

You must be 13 or older to make one, the same age stated in our privacy policy. Keep your password to yourself: anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Pick a username other people can see without embarrassment — we may change or remove one that is abusive, impersonates someone, or is chosen to offend.

You can ask us to delete your account and what it holds by writing to us from the contact page.

Fair play

The leaderboards only mean something if the scores on them were earned. Do not script the games, automate guesses, call our endpoints directly, or run more than one account to improve a placing. We remove scores we believe were not played honestly, and accounts that keep doing it.

Do not try to break the site, work around the limits on how often you can guess, or pull our data in bulk for something else. Ordinary play — including playing a great deal — is not what this is about.

The stats, and the NFL

BallKnower is not affiliated with the National Football League, any team, or any player. Team and player names are used to describe real events, which is what a trivia game about football is. All trade marks belong to their owners.

The statistics come from public records of professional football and are compiled by us. We try hard to get them right and we do not always succeed. If you find a wrong one, please report it — that is the fastest way it gets fixed.

The games, their questions, the site's design and its words are ours. Play them, screenshot them, and share your results anywhere you like. Do not copy the games themselves or scrape the question bank to run your own.

Ads and other companies

The site shows advertising served by Google, and uses a small number of other companies to run — they are named in the privacy policy, along with what each one sees. We are not responsible for the content of an ad or of any site an ad leads to.

No promises about uptime

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available, that a daily game will appear, that a score will be recorded, or that nothing will be lost. It is a trivia game, and it is free; please do not rely on it for anything that matters. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change we will update this page and the date at the top. Carrying on using the site after that means the new version applies. Questions go to the contact page.
